Every friday is a special day at The West Island Soccer School. After 4 days of learning and practicing exciting new skills and techniques, kids get the chance to compete in The WISS Cup! The school is broken up into teams who represent their country of choice in our weekly World Cup tournament. The tournament is played out in small sided games (3 a-side/5a-side), and there are separate tournaments for varying age and skill levels if necessary. The WISS Cup is designed to be fun and is always packed with action, skill, and emotion. For lunch on fridays sandwiches will be provided by Dagwoods and the week is capped off with draws for our many weekly prizes. A great day to sum up a great week of soccer, be sure not to miss it!

The West Island Soccer School (WISS) is a summer soccer camp designed to help kids become better and happier soccer players. Since 1999 we have designed well-rounded training programs to help teach kids various soccer skills (ball control, shooting, passing, movement off the ball, and communication) always in an environment conducive to learning. Our belief is that a positive and enthusiastic attitude, combined with highly experienced and knowledgeable coaches, creates the perfect soccer camp atmosphere. Players who participate achieve new and higher levels of skill and confidence, as well as an increased love for soccer itself. As well as taking pride in being teachers of the game our coaches are excellent role models for young soccer players. They have the skills and experience to be able to demonstrate exercises with the utmost quality so players can see exactly how to perform. We make an effort to teach kids the importance of sportsmanship, health & nutrition, and setting goals; life skills that are just as important off the field as they are on it. Kids sign up for our camps and have the time of their lives, Come and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!

Soccer Shirts for Africa! The West Island Soccer School is currently assisting Suitcases for Africa to collect used soccer shirts to send to schools in Kenya and South Africa. If you have any used soccer shirts to donate please contact us and we will forward them to Suitcases for Africa. Having sent over a bunch of soccer balls in 2006 The WISS hopes to have a continuing relationship with SFA and help others to enjoy the world game as we do. Thanks to everyone for their support! Suitcases for Africa is an organization that started in honor of Dr. Ebi Kimanani-Johns. Suitcases containing school supplies, books, clothes, shoes, and soccer balls were sent to Itegero, Kenya for the village school children.
